Kehoe orders flags at Half-Staff in honor of Fallen Johnson County Fire Captain

Governor Mike Kehoe ordered Half Staff flags in honor of the Captain of the Fire District Johnson Vernon Collett.

While fighting fire March 8Collett fell from emergency medical accidents and died at the scene.

According to the governor of the Governor of the US and Missouri, in government buildings in Johnson, Misorial of Missouri, Kingdom City and Firehouses, the firefighters in the whole condition are to be transported half staff from east to sunset on Friday, March 14.

“The full work of Vernon Colletta was in the Johnson County Road and Bridge department, but he also had a call to serve his community as a volunteer fireman in the fire protection district of Johnson,” Kehoe said in a press release. “For over 29 years, Captain Collett responded to countless fires, vehicle accidents and other crisis situations. He died, fulfilling the responsibility he took to protect others. We remember Captain Collett as a model official who selflessly supported his community. ”

Collett was 60 years old.
