The facts committee identified over one hundred people who were involved in attacks on students of the Dhaka University (DU) at the July Uprising from July 15 to August 5.

Kazi Mahfuzul Islam supon, convent of the Facts Committee for July attacks and an associate professor of the Legal Department, submitted a 550-page Dhaka University (DU) report Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan in the living room in the vicinity of Du VC (March 13).

Convetor of the Supon Committee said: “We tried to take into account all the attacks that took place at the Dhaka University from July 15 to August 5 during the July Movement in this report.”

“We have seen that the attacks were carried out at the University of Dhaka on July 15 in a planned way. We found direct evidence of high students’ involvement in these violent attacks, “he added.

When asked about the process of preparing the report, the committee said: “Because no material from CCTV from attacks was available, we contacted students via e -mail and contact number, asking for information and evidence. In response, students provided various photos and videos from July attacks. “

In addition, the committee prepared a report based on messages that they saw in national and international newspapers, he added.

The authorities of the University of Dhaka created a four -person Facts Committee to identify people involved in violence that took place in the university campus between July 15 and August 5.
