The Youngstown woman learned her fate on Thursday due to a deadly disaster in which she led an SUV under the influence of alcohol at the age of more than a three -time legal limit.

The 29 -year -old Kyashia Madison was sentenced to 20 to 24 years in prison on charges of murdering a vehicle, three cases of assault on vehicles, exposed children and driving under the influence.

Madison has previously pleaded guilty to six eleven allegations that she had against her after the disaster on August 16, 2023, which killed a 19-year-old woman on the eastern side of Youngstown.

According to police reports, the accident took place shortly after 21:30 at the intersection of Aleja Victor and Commonwealth. Madison’s blood alcohol level was noted as .255, when SUV GMC Yukon, which was driving, hit the side of Cobalt Chevrolet.

Denasia Douglas, the rear seat passenger in Kobalt, was transported to the hospital, where she later died of injuries. The police report also indicated that several children and young children were in SUV -Az Madison. All four juvenile suffered minor injuries.
