A 6-year-old girl killed in San Leandro House Fire, several wounded

The young girl was killed in the fire of the house San Leandro On Thursday morning and several others, including her twin, were injured.

What we know:

The authorities reported that the fire broke out around 5 am at home at Darius Way and Altamont Road, right next to the intercool motorway 580.

Dozens of deputies of Alamed’s union and six fire trucks reacted to the scene. The smoke was still swirling from the house at 7:30

The head of the Alameda Fire Brigade Battalion confirmed that a 6-year-old girl died in a fire and five other people were injured.

The family says that the twins were at home

What they say:

Cousin said KTVU that at least six people lived in the house, including 6-year-old twin girls, grandmother and a few aunts. One of the twins died on fire

“We saw fire from below. I was very scared for these little girls and everyone, “said Amber Mendoza.

At least two people were transported to local hospitals with an ambulance. The status of other injured victims has not been disclosed.

The authorities are considering an incident for an active place of crime, but they have not disclosed this cause.
