Hill was imprisoned for at least 20 years after the jury recognized him as guilty of the same complaint.

Lord Mulholland said couples: “You both were convicted of the murder of a defenseless woman who was not a threat to any of you.

“When she was subjected to a murderous assault, she begged you to let her go.

“You ignored her request and gave her a brutal and cowardly attack.

“It was similar to torture, which was clearly designed to humiliate and distort her as a woman.”

The judge warned a couple that they would never be released.

The trial heard Mrs. Turner remained near Jason Bella’s apartment at that time.

Bella’s brother told the court that Mrs. Turner would visit him two to three times a day.
