Vehicle experts emphasized the exact day of the year, they will most likely be involved in a car accident. The Admiral team examined seven years of data to determine “the worst day of car accidents”.

Experts found Christmas, December 25, is the safest day on the road – with the “Christmas week”, which is also the safest week of driving. Studies conducted by the Admiral Car Insurance showed that on January 18 is “the most dangerous day of lead”, with more claims from accidents registered on that day than any other day of the year.

Admiral said that he stated that on average by 35% more claims about accidents were made each year on January 18 compared to the average day. And that compared to December 25, the safest day, usually 288% more accidents on January 18.

Further analysis showed that winter months are more dangerous for driving than summer months, and “all except one of ten days in the case of the largest number of accidents takes place in the winter months.”

According to Admiral, the most important when you probably have a car accident:

  1. January 18
  2. December 5

  5. November 30
  6. December 14
  7. February 28
  8. December 15
  9. December 4
  10. March 1

Elsewhere, Lightfoot experts said that people probably have car accidents on Friday. His research suggests that “Friday is the most dangerous day of the week for fleet drivers with the highest number of accidents, speeds and cases of aggressive driving.”

Experts added: “Our data has shown that Friday at 9 am is the most common time in case – based on the number of FNOL (first notification of losses) sent from our devices. In general, Friday is also the worst day of the week for aggressive driving, with greater cases of harsh braking, sudden turns and a sharp bend. “
