A man accused of murdering his mother and son was injured in a shooting in the village of Kaju after he allegedly tried to escape from the crime scene, where the police brought him to recover MurderOfficials said on Thursday.

Curator Kaushambi Police Brijesh Kumar Srivastava said that Shani was arrested in Deoria on Wednesday in connection with the double murder in the police station in Charwa.

Shravan was arrested earlier and is in prison, while Devi, who is also accused, is still escaping.
