Watch: The wounded coach Rahul Dravid joins Rajasthan Royals Camp in backstage

Coach Rajasthan Royals, Rahul Dravid, was noticed in the team’s training camp on the scenes after a recent reference to the leg injury. Despite the physical discomfort, Dravid tried to get involved with players and carefully monitor their training. Arriving at the golf cart, the 52-year-old talked to key players, such as Riyan Parag and Yashasvi Jaiswal, offering tips and support as a team prepared for the upcoming season of the Premier League Indian (IPL) 2025.

Rajasthan Royals previously confirmed that Dravid had a leg injury while playing cricket in bengalur. The injury stopped him from the first pre -season training sessions of the team, but joined the camp on March 12.

Dravid’s injury took place during the semi-finals of group III Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) of Group III, where he played in Vijaya Cricket Club with his 16-year-old son Anvay. Dravid began two deliveries to his other people, began to experience discomfort, but he still didn’t hit. However, at the age of 18, trying to escape, he pulled out the calf muscle and fell in pain, demanding the help of his teammates to leave the field.

Appointed as coach Rajasthan Royals before the IPL 2025 mega auction, Dravid’s arrival in the camp injected confidence in the team. The former captain of India and the main coach who led the India team to the T20 World Cup triumphing in 2024, gives extensive experience and tactical knowledge.

It is expected that Dravid will work closely with Captain Sanju Samson and the director of the cricket of Kumar Sangakkar, because Rayastan Royals is seeking a serious challenge for the title of IPL this season.
