Fire explodes in a restaurant in Delhi’s Connaught Place, six wounded

According to the official, the place of accidents received a fire notification of almost 11:55. In this incident, six people suffered serious burn injuries.

The fire broke out in the Bikkgane Biryani restaurant in Connaught Place on Thursday morning, hurting six people with serious burn injury, said the official of Delhi Fire Services (DFS).

DFS sent six fire tenders after receiving a warning around 11:55. The official said, however, that the fire has not yet been controlled.

The fire broke out in the restaurant’s kitchen due to the leakage of the LPG cylinder, added the officer.

Wounded were taken to the RML hospital for treatment.
