Five days after the crime, STF caught up to trace the killers of the Sitapur journalist

UP STF is designed to find attackers who killed Raghvendra Bajpai journalist in Sitapur, because the local police did not progress in the investigation.

UP Special Task Group (STF) stayed on Wednesday to trace men who shot a journalist at Broad Wight in the Sultanpur region in Sitapur last Saturday. This move was taken after the local police did not get any breakthrough in the case even five days after the murder of Raghvendry Bajpai, 36.

On Tuesday, the press council of India asked about the report of the Police General Director and the District Judge Sitapur and the Police Superintendent of the action initiated so far in the case. Bajpai worked every day in Mahola Tehsil from Sitapur to the National Hindi News.

A senior police officer confirmed that the STF team visited Sitapur and collected the basic Transceiver station (BTS) to resign suspicious active cell numbers near the crime scene at the time of the incident. Explaining BTS, he said that it was a permanent radio transceiver, which connected mobile devices to the mobile network, and was a key part of the system of the base network base station that helped follow the activity of the mobile phone number in a specific area.

Another police official among the investigation said that the police Sitapur was surprised because many reasons for crime had appeared. He said that the investigation so far revealed that several doctor were concerned about articles that Bajpai wrote. Bajpai recently revealed corruption in the purchase of rice and selling fees for release.

He said that the journalist also wrote against anomalies in the functioning of brick furnaces. His connections with a woman also appeared during the investigation, said the official, adding that the journalist often talked to the woman, because his mobile details of the connections suggested that he had talked to her at least 40 times in the last month.

He added that more than 36 people were questioned so far, but nothing decisive came out.

He said that in materials from the television scanned by the police, a motorcycle and quadricycles were seen after the journalist just a few minutes before shooting it by two attackers transferred by a motorcycle near Hempur Railway exceeding about 15.15 on March 8.
