Manchester – Police in Manchester responded to a report on a robbery near 340 Kelley St. Around 9:30 March 12.

The officers arrived at the place found a man on earth with significant facial injuries.

The victim was aware and breathing, but could not answer the police questions.

Detectives examining the incident collected evidence indicating that what was initially reported as an assault seemed to be an accident.

The man is currently being treated in a local hospital.
