Brayden Maynard expected in a queue to Collingwood after arising unscathed from the “unfortunate” car accident

Brayden Maynard, a defender of Collingwood Premiership, escaped from an unrestricted car accident and is to play on Saturday clashes from Port Adelaide to MCG.

Sroki confirmed that Maynard was involved in an accident on two cars in Brighton on Friday morning, which means his second car accident within 14 months.

“Fortunately, neither Brayden nor passengers in the second vehicle were injured in an accident,” said Collingwood, Collingwood Charlie Gardiner.

“Talking to Brayden this morning, it was an unfortunate accident, but fortunately he and the other driver and passenger were fine.”

Maynard left the training session in January 2024, after he participated in a car accident on the Mornington Peninsula motorway.

Nobody was injured in this disaster.

Maynard has played 210 matches since the AFL debut in 2015.

The 28-year-old was a key figure in the premiere campaign of Collingwood 2023.
