Two sentenced to two years in prison in Pocso

The court in the Pocso case in the Chittoor district on Wednesday (January 29) sentenced two people to two years imprisonment and imposed a fine of 4,000 ₹ in connection with the kidnapping and sexual assault on a juvenile girl in Madanapalle.

According to the police, the girl was kidnapped from Mayabazar Street, Madanapalle Town in the former Chittoor district (currently part of the Annamayya district) on February 26, 2022. After submitting the complaint the next day, Madanapalle two city police began investigating the investigation and arrested two people identified as Kotakonda Charan I Sheikh Hamid from the districts of Annamayya and Tirupati.
