New video released by Subway Joyride suspects – NBC New York

The police published a new video from observing six suspects, who, he says, stole the train in the subway in Queens and took him to joy at the weekend.

The insolent theft took place before 22:30 on Saturday near Station 71. Avenue in Forest Hills along the E/F/M/R line, according to NYPD. The officers initially responded to reports of vandalism, but he was met by an MTA employee who reported several people got into the uninhabited R train, and then took him for a short distance.

The police said that people damaged some train cameras by placing markings on them.

MTA said that he cooperates with the police to identify and find people responsible for moving the R. Train Charles Watson from NBC with NBC.

MTA did not immediately answer the questions whether there were operational cameras in the stolen train. The transit agency said that it cooperates with the police to identify and find people responsible for moving the R.

Some riders questioned the safety of MTA after many cases of incidents, including one in September, in which the police claimed that two suspects entered the Briarwood metro station and stole the train on the e/f line. Teens in this incident were arrested after the alleged breakup of the train.

In the incident of December 2023, several suspects moved two trains in Forest Hills and took them to joy before they abandoned the locomotives.

“I heard about children (subway), but when it comes to kidnapping the train and running it? Not too often, but it should never happen, “said Chris Pitino of Long Island City. “It’s madness. It’s crazy. “

The investigation remains in progress. No arrests have yet been made.
