A woman from the Valley in Yucca hit and killed by a vehicle in desert hot springs

The Riverside Coroner Office identified 45 -year -old Elizabeth Wright from the Jucca Valley as a woman who died in a collision.


Desert Hot Springs, California (KESQ) – around 5 am Police officers Desert Hot Springs reacted to the Palm Drive area, south of Varner Road, to a vehicle report compared to a collision of pedestrian traffic with injuries. When the officers arrived, they found a woman on the road. Despite life -saving measures, the woman was considered dead at the scene of the incident.

The Investigan Team (Mait) Desert Hot Springs Police responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Based on the initial information, the officers determined that the woman was on the road when the vehicle hit her. Meanwhile, the driver remained in place and cooperates with investigators.

Movement’s tings meant that Palm Drive closed in both directions from Varner Road to Paul Road. Residents should avoid palm riding, north of the highway and use the Varner Road for dating of palm trees or the Indian Canyon, if they plan to travel and leave the desert hot springs.
