A trial date has been set in Clark County in Nick Carter’s sexual assault lawsuit

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – A trial date has been set in Nick Carter’s Backstreet Boys lawsuit against women accusing him of sexual assault.

In December 2022, Shannon Ruth filed a sexual assault lawsuit against the singer-songwriter.

Ruth, a 39-year-old woman, says she suffers from autism and cerebral palsy.

She alleges that Carter gave her alcohol and attacked her after a concert in Tacoma, Washington, in February 2001. She was 17 years old at the time of the alleged incident.

Carter denied the accusations.

She is one of many women who have made allegations of sexual assault against Carter.

The District Court announced the hearing date: August 4, 2025. Readiness for the hearing will be checked on May 29, 2025.
